Everyone is a leader somewhere . . . but not everyone fits the stereotype of a “corporate leader.” Identifying your leadership style and understanding the roles and environments where your style is most effective can unlock your personal Super Power. Once you understand the 4 basic leadership styles, we will delve deep into the natural strengths and potential pitfalls of each of the 16 personality types using the double-lens of the 8 cognitive functions and Beebe’s Archetype model.
Participating in this workshop will provide you with insight into where and how people can identify their best environments and applications for leadership and how to build effective teams that help avoid a tragic fall from grace. This is a highly interactive workshop based on Markey Read’s book, Your Cast of Characters, A Leadership Development Tool Kit.
Pre-requisites: Some knowledge of Personality Type and 8-cognitive functions useful.

Presenter Bio:
Markey Read has 20 years’ experience in using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® and personality type theory in leadership development, team building and career development with individuals and groups. She is certified in MBTI®, FlexTalk, and Emotional Intelligence. The recently published Your Cast of Characters: A leadership Development Tool Kit is a culmination of 10+ years of research, interviews, and practical application of personality type with leaders of all styles.
Markey is president of Career Networks, Inc. in Vermont and has more than 23 years’ experience in coaching and training groups and individuals in developing and implementing sustainable Leadership Development programs, and Career and Employment strategies.
