The field of learning and development is populated with many behavioral tools, but there are relatively few validated and applicable assessments that focus on motivation—what drives and drains us, and what is beneath the behavioral choices we make. In this workshop—using group discussion, video examples and a number of group exercises—participants receive and get interactive feedback on their DRiV reports. What drives you and drains you, and how can knowing this make you happier and more successful? This workshop—supported with OKA’s DRiV to Action Workbook—will lead participants to create a detailed, next-step action plan.
The DRiV model is composed of 28 well-researched drivers organized within six motivational factors. Understanding and learning how both to spot and to use these drivers gives you unique power in your ongoing efforts toward self-awareness, self-management and the continual challenges of leadership, team and organizational life.
Participants will:
- Receive and understand your DRiV Report
- Discover and discuss the 28 unique drivers underpinning the assessment—and how each play out in leadership and teamwork
- Explore different ways to use the drivers both to energize and to leverage more challenging behaviors
- Derive an action plan to develop better self-management and more informed motivational choices
