Interactive Exercises & Features
Determined to avoid passive learning, NavigatEQ offers interactive features and exercises throughout that allow participants to select their learning paths, track and quiz their knowledge, and choose and explore different action items for practice and application. There is even an interactive capstone module that opens up when a learner achieves a significant amount of progress in the initial program.
Setting Your Own Path and Pace
Each learner has the ability to move through the EQ model and all of its content in the order and pace that best suits their interest and learning style. Go in order, dragonfly around, stay plugged in for long stretches, or leave and come back later—explore and engage the content however it suits you best.
Use Your EQ-i Report or Self-Assess
Any learner who has taken the EQ-i assessment and has their report can use that tool and its scores as a basis for this EQ deep dive. For those learners who have not yet taken the EQ-i assessment, NavigatEQ offers a self-assessment—a series of questions to determine each participant’s current levels of EQ engagement.

NavigatEQ covers a spectrum of 16 behaviors, illustrating what too much, balanced, and too little of each behavior looks and sounds like—as well as how to address the challenge of both neglected and overdone behaviors.
Real-World Application
NavigatEQ’s primary aim is to help EQ learners pivot from interest and insight to an actual learning and development plan—to pivot to new behaviors, stretch goals, and meaningful change. To that end, participants are offered over 75 different specific behavioral suggestions to address their individual challenges or learning goals.
Balancing Accountability Metrics & Privacy
Organizations frequently wish to track learners’ progress through learning content, but learners themselves often like the privacy to explore what and how they wish—free from being observed. NavigatEQ tries to satisfy both desires by tracking high-level starting and completion metrics, but NOT logging or reporting any given person’s hours or interest levels in any content. Also, NavigatEQ intentionally does NOT record scores or exercise output of any kind. Part of empowered online learning is putting the learner in charge of their own learning path—and giving each person the freedom to explore and discover without being tracked or observed.
