OKA Digital Badges – Share Your Accomplishments!
OKA has partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your credentials from us. Digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes, and on social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. When you go through a certification with us, you will receive a digital badge that displays your newfound qualifications, and the process you underwent to earn them. The short answer is: A digital badge is a visual, online representation of an accomplishment, skill, interest, or other achievement. They communicate three things: Who did something? What did they do? Who says they did it?
Here’s a lengthier answer.
- Secure, web-enabled credentials which will display and enhance your professional accomplishments.
- Shareable on any digital platform: social media, email signature, embedded in your resume, or on your website bio.
- A source for your credential(s), offering a complete overview of the assessments passed and the knowledge you’ve acquired.
- An excellent way to verify your achievement with current and prospective employers, clients, and colleagues.
- An access point for Labor Market Insights to assist job seekers and match employers.
Earning a badge is simple! The entire process takes only 4 steps.
- Undergo a certification with us that offers a badge upon completion. As of now, those are the EQ-i, DRiV, CSI, ISI, and HRG.
- Once you’ve earned your badge, you’ll be sent a notification email from our badge provider and partner. During this process, you’ll receive information about how to claim and share your badge. At this point, if you haven’t already, you can create your own profile page, explore, and take advantage of the additional benefits there.
- If you choose, you can share your badge on social media sites, or place your badge directly on your digital resume!
- Whether it’s a new promotion, new job, or graduate school, as a badge holder, you now have a variety of tools available to help you make that transition. You’ll be able to access data about the labor market’s demand for the skills validated by your badge.
