In this psychologically safe and experiential program, each participant will learn how to develop and enhance their self-awareness, explore, and learn about the building blocks of resilience and the behaviors associated with hardiness and grit. While OKA believes the most impactful offerings of the Emotional Resilience Program are delivered in person, we offer a virtual program for clients requiring online learning options.

Structure
We are offering 3 different options for our program: 1 Day, 3 Days, and 3 Months. Below are the differences between each:
One Day:
The abbreviated version of this program is intended to introduce people to the foundations of resilience – how to build the core skillset of resilience and to develop an action plan to put the insights to work. This single day version is better experienced in person (8 contact hours) to maximize the learning from the experiential components. However, the single day option can also be delivered virtually ( contact hours,) without a number of the experiential components.
Three Days:
This expanded program allows participants to explore the foundation of resilience. Additionally, each participant will complete two assessments and get feedback on both, the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) and the Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG).
The EQ-i 2.0 is assessment is the world’s most popular Emotional Intelligence tool. This self-assessment is an extensively researched, validated tool that allows respondents to quantify and benchmark their behaviors in 16 different areas of Emotional Intelligence – allowing each participant to zero-in on behaviors they most need to develop that most impact their resilience.
The Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG) is grounded in over 30 years of research and development and provides valuable insight into an individual’s level of hardiness or grit – and their ability to cope with stressful and unexpected situations. The HRG focuses on the three C’s – control, commitment, and challenge. The three C’s of hardiness represent the key qualities that hardy people possess. They believe they have control over the events they experience. They commit to seeing the world as meaningful and interesting, and they view challenges and change as growth opportunities.
The HRG is a psychometrically rigorous tool that demonstrates exceptional reliability and validity as it focuses on the impact of a person’s hardiness across multiple domains in their life and supports a wide variety of coaching and development situations.
Three Months:
The full Emotional Resilience Program provides a robust process for assessing one’s resilience, areas of strength, areas of potential development, coaching, and networking. This program will expose participants to public speakers with expertise in developing resilience for a more enhanced and varied approach to building resilience. This option will have both in-person and virtual modules. Valuable components experienced will consist of:
- EQ360 Assessment (Emotional Intelligence): Gather feedback on yours strengths and potential areas of development from others (professionally and personally) who know you.
- HRG (Hardiness Resilience Gauge): Complete an assessment that quantifies your connection to the key qualities that people with grit exhibit. Develop an action plan that identifies what you exhibit master of wand what you need to develop to be more hardy in dealing with life’s challenges.
- Reversals: Too often, people get stuck – stuck in bad relationships, stuck in hurtful patterns of behavior from trauma or other difficult situations, or even stuck with bad decisions. This concept of reversals is about snapping out of places that don’t serve us, that are the wrong mental state at the wrong time, places, or mindsets where we are stuck. This concept or tool is offered as a remedy to help you leverage insight and change in yourself and others. Reversals offer us ideas and actions that help leverage the right motivations, emotion, and behavior, to live in accordance with our life goals and values.
