A Lead Trainer with extensive experience in both group facilitation and executive leadership coaching, Rebecca brings a focused and accessible voice to training and discussions around diversity, inclusion, and the building and maintenance of safe, learning spaces. Her training and coaching are enhanced by her experiences as a teacher, an entrepreneur, and a program developer and manager in the non-profit sector. Rebecca has been a key contributor to OKA since 2015 and is a principal designer and facilitator of OKA’s Leadership Accelerator for Women (L.A.W.) program that launched in 2022.
As a Lead Trainer, Rebecca certifies coaches, and trains other trainers on the correct use and interpretation of a number of powerful and restricted psychological assessments, including the EQ-i2.0, the EQ360, the DRiV and DRiV360, the Influence Style Indicator (ISI), the Change Style Indicator (CSI), and the Decision Style Profile (DSP). Rebecca brings other tools as well to her training and development efforts, including the Pearman Personality Integrator and the Team Performance Inventory (TPI) as well as a unique voice to training and coaching a myriad of other popular development topics like resilience, managing change, giving and receiving feedback, and creating safe-to-speak teams.
Rebecca earned a certificate from Cornell University’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program, certifications on over a dozen learning and development assessments and has a B.A. in Piano Performance & Pedagogy from Fredonia School of Music. Her unique training and coaching voice has been shaped by an array of diverse experiences including training & fundraising in Uganda and Colombia for humanitarian organizations, cultivating programs for Asian-American communities and partnering with local government and NGAs to reduce crime and address education needs in historically underserved communities.
Rebecca is a trans-racial adoptee who lives with her husband and two kids in Washington D.C.
